There is a label from Australia call Arthur Lawrence. He created a range of natural skin care for adults many years ago and shared it only with his friends and families. I have been using it for many years and needless to say, I have lovely skin. 
So I found out that he has a range made for babies as well. So I jumped at the opportunity to try it on my kids as I know his products are made with no chemicals which can be harmful for the human body this includes our precious baby.
I posted an article before this about the dangers in chemicals found in baby products. Baby requires very little care for their skin as their skin is very pure. The more stuff you put on them, the faster you are destroying it. Please read the article here. (more…)

CHICAGO — Baby shampoos, lotions and powders may expose infants to chemicals that have been linked with possible reproductive problems, a small study suggests.
The chemicals, called phthalates, are found in many ordinary products including cosmetics, toys, vinyl flooring and medical supplies. They are used to stabilize fragrances and make plastics flexible.
In the study, they were found in elevated levels in the urine of babies who’d been recently shampooed, powdered or lotioned with baby products. (more…)

Tzu Chi USA established an emergency coordination center and initiates a nationwide fundraising campaign on January 16 and 17.
The 7.0 magnitude earthquake that struck Haiti on January 12 has caused catastrophic damages and casualties in the country, especially in the country’s capital, Port-au-Prince. Tzu Chi USA headquarters immediatelyestablished an emergency coordination center to respond to the needs in Haiti. On January 13, meetings were held with Tzu Chi global headquarters, Tzu Chi USA’s regional directors throughout the nation, as well as other humanitarian organizations.
Tzu Chi global headquarters, Taiwan, has initiated a global fundraising campaign to deliver the love from people around the globe to the affected people in Haiti. To kick off the global fundraising campaign, Tzu Chi volunteers in the US will hold a nationwide street fundraiser on January 16 and 17. (more…)

At least 350,000 packs of instant rice, 500,000 of corn power and other relief goods have been prepared for shipment as of January 14. In US,
nationwide fundraisers will be held on January 16, 17, 23, 24.
Tzu Chi Emergency Coordination Center was established immediately after the earthquake struck Haiti. The Coordination Center has identified three areas of focus for Tzu Chi’s immediaterelief work in Haiti: 1) Relief aid distribution; 2) Medical assistance; 3) Global fundraising efforts. Tzu Chi’s relief team, including volunteers and doctors from the US and the Dominican Republic, are on standby along with large quantities of relief goods and medical supplies. (more…)
